Dr. Samantha Lane

Dr. Samantha Lane grew up on the West Coast and spent the majority of her childhood in Boise, Idaho. She attended Washington State University Honors College where she earned her Bachelors in Zoology, and then received her DVM from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.

After graduation, she moved to Beaverton and began working at Banfield Pet Hospital in Cedar Hills. She spent 13 years caring for families and their pets and she focused on preventative care, general surgery, and geriatric care. She also developed an appreciation for spicy cats and big goofy dogs. During COVID she began working as a mobile vet serving the Vancouver and Portland regions, and fell in love with fear-free handling and the human-animal bond. Her love of mobile work grew into providing relief services for the clinics in her local community. She has recently joined the Laurelwood team, and has special interests in preventative care, breed-specific conditions, and palliative care.

Dr. Lane lives in the Beaverton area with her 2 kids, 3 Boxers, and 2 cats. She enjoys baking, reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, action movies, and DIY home renovations. She is getting back into ceramics (mainly to cut down on home improvement projects!), and enjoys karaoke and trivia nights!
